Not meaning to pee in your cornflakes, but that looks like a pretty rough fit at the front of the hood. Bad hood or bad grill surround?

Looks great, but I'd have to agree with Tim, the hood or grill looks a bit off, is it popped up and just not opened?

the leaning look is from the hood stop on that side. i was cleaning under the hood and bent it over like a boomerang. ( the all-thread stop with the rubber top). i picked me up another adjuster today. also being that it's an aftermarket hood, it's not going to look factory. i also had them paint the whole truck, got me a jlp heat exchanger, new grills, new corners, and new wheels. i am very pleased with it. the paint blows the factory paint job out of the water. it has a much deeper looking shine.

I see you got the newer style grilles. How come you didnt get the new fog lights? Or are they the new ones?

Everything looks great!

thanks. the guy had already ordered the bumper cover for a 2000 model. the newer foglights won't fit without some modifing(to my understanding). i would've had him send it back, but i had asked for a lot of changes at that point. i was just happy to swap everything i did for upgraded parts.

That's why I was asking. That is about the only aftermarket hood other than the shaker that appeals to me. And I need a new hood from a crash.

But it's the front edge that I am talking about. Looks like it's way bigger than stock gap.

Is the extractor really functional?
