Question AEM Wideband Questions

2 questions:

1. Is $369.95 a good price for a brand new, in the box, "retail" AEM Wideband UEGO Controller, complete kit with Bosch sensor included ?

2. Do you replace 1 of the factory O2 sensors with the Bosch unit ? If so, what do you connect the existing wiring to so the computer doesn't throw a code ?

Thanks for any info you can provide...

You should just weld in a new bung for the wideband, and leave your stock o2's right were there at.

1. Yes that is a pretty good price for it. I think they retail for close to 500, not sure though.

2. You do not replace you factor 02 sensors with the Bosch sensor. The kit should include a bung that you weld into you exhaust, with detailed instructions on the angle, and how far it should be down the exhaust tubing, and how to wire it up. I will say that my only gripe is that the face of the guage doesnt light up at night. It only shows the numbers in red (digital), and the lightshow thing, not sure what the proper name for that is.
