I dont visit the boards that often anymore since i have jumped the fence and bought a new C6 since ford couldnt step up to the plate on a new L .Dont worry,I still have my JDM tuned truck sitting in the garage.
First of all,I have NOTHING against JDM. It has been years since I have delt with them in a business mannor.I have spoken with jim in person a few times at the track and such. I have always said his products are top notch.I have always got my fastest times with his tunes with no meltdowns. Instead of kissing his a$$ maybe you should re-read my post. My post was meant for people exactly like yourself who would blow a donkey if he asked you to. I myself like to be my own person and I dont feel the need to stick up for other people. My point was and still is, JDM makes their own bed .Good or bad, he is his own man.You dont see him on this site sticking up for you guys when you have a disagreement do you??? No... nor should he............
My comment has NOTHING to do with JDM ,Its got to do with some people dont have enough integrity to think with their own mind.They let other people who might be their hero think for them.No different than alot of fans of Michael Jackson wouldnt believe the jury when they find him guilty of (blank) just because the king of pop cannot do any wrong....Get my picture? In my story, You are the little boys and JDM is Michael Jackson

Actually Ray, when myself, Tallimecca and a few other were down at JDM, one night there was almost an altercation. Well Jim and a few others showed up when we had mentioned it to Jim jr.... so yeah he did stick up for us.
Jim is a very stand up guy, and no i didnt spend thousands of dollars with JDM either. Most people that come on these boards read the slander against JDM from other peoples perspectives that had a rare bad experience, for what the reason, without evening knowing what type of person Jim is. As soon as one negative comment pops on these boards.... bammm JDM Sucks... We stick up for Jim b/c there are always 2 sides to every story...
In almost all your posts Ray you always have to throw gas on the fire, you said it yourself, that you havent dealt with JDM in years... so why bother kicking a dead horse...
And if I do remember correctly.. weren't you leaving the boards never to return????

Actually, i was asking a simple question. I wasn't proving any kind of point. I just found it odd that you talk about JDM like people talk about AIDS and i could have sworn when you bought the new truck that you bought you pulley and chip and tuner from JDM. That's basically it.
You love to stir the pot and that's fine so i'll just leave it alone.
My relationship with Jim is one of buisness. I dont' go and hang out with him on the weekends. I dont' chill at his house. I pay him money for parts and tuning. And i get what I want every time. But you know what, I grew a complete new respect for Jim, Shawn, Jim III and all the rest of the JDM crew when they came to our hotel to see what was going on when they got word that a bunch of Lightnings were being vandalized at our hotel.
Especially since they were out eating dinner taking a break from working all day, to only be going back to the shop when they were done. To me, that says alot.
I don't know why you make it a point to start **** all the time but why dont' you talk about something positive for a change. I have gotten great service from a company and i'm not afraid to say so. Being a buisness owner, i know what it's like to always hear 10 complaints for every one compliment. It's the way of the world. So if someone asks about JDM, you will hear good things come from me. That's just he way it is. If you don't like it, don't read my posts.
It's just a riot how people like you just sit there at the computer and have it all figured out. Do you honestly think that I do what ever Jim tells me to? If that be the case , i would have a 6lb pulley or a magnum blower one my truck. Jim says it would be fine and I told Jim quite a few times that I don't personally feel comfortable with such mods on a daily driver with a stock block. He respects my decision and that's it.
So instead of trying to call me out throw me under the bus, why don't you go back to pissing and moaning about someone trying to steal your board name. Didn't you say you were leaving the boards because of it? You are just one of those itches that can't be scratched.
Why don't you go infest the Vette board for a while
