When is there enough Horsepower??
When is there enough Horsepower??
Is there a point when there is too much horsepower for a street lightning?? I mean...there has got to be a point at which traction on sticky street tires is impossible and having more horsepower is pointless without the traction. At the strip you can always put on slicks and so forth, but street tires have limited abilities. Does this make any sense?? You guys with the powerful built blocks....can you really get on it from a standstill while driving on the street ??? Or can you really only use all that horsepower at the track??
Hence the reason I do what I do, Have as much as you can on the street. And then have a schitt load more waiting at the push of a button, WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I find with any vehicle
350 HP is kick ***
400 HP is smoking
450 is HOLY SCHITT BAT MAN
500 is in a world of it's own,
(and I truly see no reason for more on the streets)
425-450 is dam near impossible to hook with
Now the Track, that is another story
Once I put some more miles on mine, well tune @ 480-500 Street,
and @625 for track, or street fun. (Just in case I find a Burn Out Box, and Tree out there) hehehehehehe.........
Right now I am driving around with a very mild break in tune, and it's like I'm on ice skates I tell you, and I am by no mean a top HP Truck.....
OH YA
YA WHAT THEY SAID,
NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH HP

I think 1000 rwhp is the line. Any more and you're really limited in pressing the gas pedal hard below 150 mph.
