ok, im the newbee thats been asking all the questions about my lightning,,,,it run a 8.55 @80.261 with a 1.87 60 ft. stock paper filter and meter. just a 4# lower, 4.10,t-body,nittos,the chip i bought off ebay with my same mods (thats why i bought it) slowed me down to a 8.79 & 8.71, i took it out,,,so should it had went faster than 8.55 or is that normal..thanx for any replys

 

So you are saying after you installed the pulley, chip, gears, ect... you slowed down?

 

an 8.55 is ridiculously quick for a stock L, but an 8.7x isn't "bad" for your mods....a little on the slow side

get it dynod with a/f and post the results

no, i went a 8.5s with lower pulley,gears,t-body, i installed a diablo and it went down to 8.7s, i bought the chip off ebay cause it was burned for the same set up i have but i dont guess it was after all cause i slowed down..how much will a metter and cold air help from my 8.5s
