vacuum line problems for 99 only.

this is for 99's...the vacuum line running from top of EGR valve..where does it go to.

The reason is I removed s/c for port and polish and hooking things back up and this is only vac line left open. I know 99 is different because other years have a green line. My green line runs from dash to front selinoid.

Hope this isnt too confusing...need to get it running this week-end.

tks ron

You've got it hooked up wrong. The green line you have going to the dash line should go to the EGR valve. The dash line goes to a black line that comes from the cluster of plastic linesinside the black convuluted tubing, back by the bypass.

Fixed it. Found other vac line. I had my nephew helping to take off and my have stuck the green line on there. I had color coded some of the other lines to prevent a mis-match.

thks sal

Works for me.
Not really, he is a senior in high scholl and has a work program thru Five-star ford here in Phx. They pay for all his tech schooling and high % of cost for his tools.
As long as he stays there and keep going for a certifications he will be makling good money in a few years. They move him to different area for training every so often and he loves it. Wish i had that kind of oppertunity when i was a senior in H.S.
