Rob, are you sure your belt is routed right? It looks like the lower right idler isn't being used.

Correct the passengerside idler is off of that MP bracket... Maybe it's a secret mod for more boost...

This is the routing you want...

You are 100% correct, it is NOT right.
We're trying something out to see how effecient it'll work ???

Where using only 2 idler pulleys, (NOT 3), and my current belt, instead of an extra idler pulley and a new belt.

Here I brightened up a pic to show you

Here you can see the path of the belt WITHOUT that pulley

Translation: Too cheap to buy a new belt.

Just kidding Rob, sounds like something I would try.

I was prob cutting out that day,
OR SOMETHING ??? hehehehehe

The Mag Bracket calls for you to buy (1) extra Idler Pulley
It takes your Original (2) plus (1)

Then of course you put back the adjustable spring loaded
"Belt Tensioning Thingy"
If you call that an idler pulley, sorry I guess my count is off ; o )

I had (2) 100mm brand new idler pulley's, but unfortunately
you can not use them

Here the (2) stock ones were put back on, but then we took that
left one off (or middle if you count the "thingy") and instead used it on the top

So does using the MP idler bracket mean I need a longer belt?

Mark,
If you add the extra idler pulley yes

I need to make up a little chart or something myself
cause I'm not even sure what the hell # belt I got on there,
but I do know it was the brand new Gatorback I just bought 6 days before it came off the road.

It was for a 4 lower, + 2 Upper, plus (2) 100 mm ilder pulleys on the stock Ford Bracket.

It turned out to fit perfect (without us using that 3rd idler pulley).
My Current set up is 8lb Lower, 3 lb upper (2.7), and that Mag Bracket ( minus a pulley of course (lol)

BTW ALL
I had a very productive day today : o )
re-installed the n20 solenoids, hooked up the fuel line,
installed the new dual bracket and bottles, and re-hooked up the Throttle Positioning Switch and Maximiser Digital Control.
The nitrous system is fully funtional again WOO HOO.......
(just waiting on the new Plate, so I can install the nozzle)
You know I had to re-install the juice the 1st day I had off ; o )
