I am going to do the line valve mod tomorrow and was wondering if this is the correct transmission fluid to use? I will try and post a pic.

If I cant post the pic the tranny fluid that I bought says

Valvoline ATF DEXRONIII/MERCON. then it says that it is recommended for Ford and GM vehicles.

That is correct as long as you have the 4R100 transmission [DO NOT use mercon 5.]

 

Motorcraft MERCON ATF NOT Mercon V

 

I prefer using type F.

 

Against what all the experts say...............

I went with Amsoil Synthetic ATF

Its a one type fits all, been working great for 13K miles
