Post Header Install A/F

I installed long tubes and high flow cats on my truck a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had time to get the a/f checked. But, it smells like it is running richer. Anyone check their a/f before and after a header install?

There is a difference between WOT A/F ratios and parked a/f ratios. j/k

Unless.....? your implying that your nose-a-meter is located at the right rear tire area during a WOT blast..

Rich,

With the rear window open. After I let off at WOT, it smells rich. It also smells richer at startup.

maybe

I was told just the opposite and my truck proved it.

A/f before headers 11.5.

A/f after..........low 10's and complately dropped off the scale in the mid range.

Headers and high flows were the only thing changed

Every time I've added LT's on a Lightning it richens the A/F; total opposite of what you'd think.

Thanks tallimeca and camcojb.

Sal is coming to town the weekend of March 19th, looks like I'll be getting another dyno tune.
