shock extenders installed

just installed shock extenders on my buddies lightning, what a pain in the ***, left side was easy, passenger side was such a pain, oh well its done........this thread is to prove some boys over on NLOC wrong

also how does his pinion angle look, there is no vibration so we assumed it looed ok, its pretty close to the angle on my lightning, we used an angle finder on the actuall drive shaft, and its where mine is about, and i think im at -3 degrees

man, u hope u better not run over anything with your L. You've lost alot of clearance with those..... look how close they are to the ground, i think they are a bit of a bad idea cause if ur on the freeway and there is something in the middle of the road and u have to go over it..... well ya.

Anyways... how much of a drop did u get with those and does your truck feel any better on turns and such?

Cool

Lowering the shock mounting point doesn't lower the truck - it restores the stroke length of the shock when installed on a lowered truck.

well it isnt my truck, but the truck is fairly low, and if he were to run over anything on the freeway there would be major damage, like the whole front facia ect.

The part that made them such a pain in the *** is , the passenger side (on all people i talked to with extenders) is not quite wide enuff, so you need a serious hammer to get them on.

what do you think of his pinion?

Looks like there is still tons of room. Way more than lets say a Corvette or Viper would have. Unless the truck is on jacks in the pics.
