pretty neat, to bad you can't hear the whine of the blower, but still cool.

 

Weak! my lightning in the game has 655 hp or so, 707 tq and runs 10.8 @ 140 mph hehe, not to mention a 50 shot of Nitrous hehe.

well i couldnt afford the stage 3 tuning at the time so i was stuck at 550 or w/e. i bought the nitrous but i havent figured out how to use it yet...

and yes it sucks about the sound. no whine is bad enough, but it doesnt even sound like a v8 . they always had trouble mimicing that v8 sound. must be that uneven firing order.

and that chevy ss concept has like 480 hp in that game. in the previous versions of gran tourismo, their concept cars have pretty much all become production vehicles. might be something for u L's to watch out for...

 

R1 activates N20. Set up your shot size in the settings menu before a race. You can go up to 100HP. The bottle seems to be HUGE, so I dont see a reason not to go for the 100 shot.

Keep in mind the SST pickup concept is an '02, so I figured we woulda heard more about it if it is real.

I am at 554HP in my L, but I still have a LOT more mods I can still do, hehe. All I can get in the 1/4 are mid 12s though. Go figure. I havent toyed with my gears at all though

That was sweet, but yeah would be better if you could hear the blower.

 

That was pretty cool.......but not only was there no blower whine....but the damn trucks sounded like 4 bangers. the silverado and the SRT-10 sounded more muscular than the lightning...

 

That isnt even an SRT-10, just a hemi RAM.

For you that have the game I HIGHLY suggest doing the special conditions races. The first two cups give SA-WEET prize cars (700+HP Cadillac Cien and 425HP Toyota Rally Car) Keep the first Rally car, but keep racing in that cup and win more to sell off for $260,000 each.

It's an amazing game! But IMO it still lacks some very basic things here and there.

 

that truck sounds like a civic is that ur exhaust option or do they all sound like that

gt4 really pisses me off. i have played it maybe 2 hours and already dont like. lets see, the L sounds lame for starters, for being a simulator you cant just whip of a standing start 360 with a corvette, but you have to tap the brakes, use 43% gas, tap the brakes, then 100% gas to make it trough a corner. what BS. I knew if it was like gt3 i was wasting my money. well, i wasted my money.

they need to think things through a little better on that physics engine.

But, the gfx are amazing. its a nie game to look at, that is for sure.
