Finally, got my first mods in on my 2001 L. They are:
Air intake
SCT Maf
New Ngk TR6
4# lower pulley
SCT X-Calibrator

and tune and dyno
the dyno show I am at Max. 404 hps with 510 torque

Are these numbers about right for what I got?

Sounds just about right.

I am curious why you have a different MAF? the 01s come with a 90mm.

well, for some reason my new air intake system was causing my check engine light to come on for some reason. The shop told me that I need to install a new SCT MAF and the problem is gone.
Not sure why the stock one did not make my L do that. I was running a little too rich and cause the check engine light to come on after about 50 miles. Did anyone had this problem too?

The third day I had my L the SES light came on and stayed on until the dealer replaced the sensor. I have friends up in Sac, maybe I'll see you up there...

cool thulsadoom
I just brought this truck about two months now and does not know a whole lot about these L's. I just read a lot about what mods I can do since the laws in CA is so strict on what we can do for daily driven vehicles.

I bought my L to Fed Force Proformance and Keith was really cool and done all the work for me.

I plan to take my L to the track later on this year. My ricer friends always ask me but sometime usually comes up and I can not make it. Maybe one of these days...........

I know, I still have not been to the track in 4 years. I am hoping I make it this year. Right now I am in Wyoming working, so it will be a while. You have ricer friends? HA HA! Anywho, we'll see I guess...

Heck, you can not miss them around here in CA. I guess that is what you get when there are so many Hollywood movies about modifing a vehicle and did not mention about mods under their hood...........

Ha Ha, I have maybe 3 friends, and none are ricers. One of my friends lives in Sac, he has a 454SS with a newly built motor. Maybe we could all go to the track. you could bring the ricers so we can laugh at them and clean the track with them. Hey are you at work or what?

yes, I am usually at work, even right now........hee...hee.......
I get a lot of ricers that wants to race me on the streets but since I am new with the L and I do not race on the street.
I just look at them and laugh........
I do have an modified 2001 Honda Prelude and a Acura CL type S but they are no ricer rides.

The Other import rides are modified for carshows. I did it just for the heck of it back then........Kinda tired of it now
