Wink Your Opinions On Rotors...

So I'm about ready to buy a set of Rotorpro rotors for the Lightning...

I have a 2004 Silver Lightning with factory chrome wheels. Wanting your opinions ----

Do you think I should just go with the silver or should I get them silver and black to go along with the calipers that I'm going to paint black.

Can't make up my mind --- help me out here!

Also, wondering what pads to go with? Are the stock pads OK --- I won't be doing any road racing. Just some stop and go traffic on the freeway.

If I had to do it again I'd forget the painting of the hubs, not calipers, because you can't really see the hubs with the stock wheels, maybe yours will be more exposed. For a daily driver I've gone back to OEM pads after lousy braking with the Napa ceramics. Whatever pads you get make sure you bed-in properly, it makes all the difference.

Ruslow's rotors and Hawk HPS pads are the ticket. I've never heard of Ruslow's rotors warping - can't say the same about PowerSlut's or RotorHo's.

I just ordered the dimpled/slotted rotors in the standard color.
I also ordered the Hawk HPS pads, should have them on in a couple weeks once the rotors get here.

I'll let you know

Jon
