I have a bunch of parts sitting in the stock room just no time to put them on. I was going to wait on the spring time to do it though. Just about to hit 80,000 on the clock!!! Nice pics of the engine man, looks killer!

Rob and I were talking about using his truck as a project truck for LightningRodder for quite sometime now "WAY" before he or I knew that you were going to build anything to step up to the plate.

This motor build up for LR (Rob's truck) was never intended to be a motor building contest as you and other people are making it seem to be. As Rob said he had a set of #'s in mind for rear wheel hp/tq "on" and "off" the bottle.

NOW granted Rob is a public service announcement machine and is an assassin to the english language but the fact still remains that this whole deal was "never" intended to be a motor building contest.

Rob is going to step up to the plate and do some damage with his setup, no doubt. I know you are shooting for some nice high hp/tq numbers off the bottle as well as on and I know both of you cats are going to give it everything you guys have so that will be fun hearing the results after you guys race.

Bottom line is Rob's goals as stated from the get go since he started screaming out what the plan was has not deviated from his original aim and he looks to run the best he can with the setup he has, and believe me I keep telling him to add more nitrous and boost because his setup is more than capable of handling it but he wants a smoking streetable mild setup, why, that is just something Rob wants. Now, if it was my project I would be pushing the limits of the boost and juice till Sal smacks me on the back of the head asking me if I am a few fries short of a happy meal.

Nevertheless, the Rob vs Gator saga continues and it is gonna be a hell of a story which I will cover in the 4th issue of my site's e-zine.

Gator, your setup is just plain sick and I know you are going to lay down some killer numbers man! It's great that JDM supported you on your project, those guys are knowledgeable and know their chit!


Either way Gator, come on man... I think Rob will still find a way to say he is still faster than you heheheheheheh what do you think

No I just have diff goals, remember I'm the one that has to drive 300-500 miles in one day just to make one simple pass.
So since 99.9% of my seat time is on the streets, I'M BUILDING ME ONE HELL OF A STREET MACHINE : o ) (and it'll do pretty darn good on the 1320 too), don't you go worrying about that. I will enjoy the schitt out of my Beast all day every day
