Headers

Just what I was looking for.

If the cost is not out of line.. I'll be ordering em.

Is there instructions/ tips on how to install long tubes any where on this site ?

Tx

If I decide to swap em, you got first dibs.
Although I doubt any of us with full exhausts will be making this switch. I'm quite sure that in a dollar to performance gain ratio it would not be worth anyones while in my situation, but I may be wrong.

Has anyone heard of a release date for the JLP designed Bassani Long Tube Headers. I have a set of Bassani equal length headers that I hear are a PITA to install. I'd rather go with the LT's and would like to find out if they are going to be released anytime soon. I received an email from a sales rep from Bassani stating "no long tube headers at this time". Didn't sound promissing for a release date anytime soon.

I would also like to go with the Bassani in the long tube design. I have the stainless Bassani catback, and have been wanting to get a set of long tube headers and mid-pipes with high-flow cats. All I knew Bassani made was the shorty headers. I hope they do go ahead and produce these sometime in the future, and let's hope they aren't priced out of the world!

Careful...the Whipple "haters" will jump on this thread and start with "where are the headers?"

I'm reviving this thread. I saw this JLP kit on the back cover of MM&FF Ford Performance Trucks mag and was totally interested in it. Price was $1999.99 and 200 bux more with cats.

I don't know if anyone knows but:
a) Are the headers Bassani made?
b) Will they fit my truck?- I have a 4x4 Lightning basically is the easiest way to describe it.
c) Anyone have this kit yet?

This thread saw life last 3+ yrs ago so somebody must know. Dynatech's are pricey, now people say they are rusting? WTF!!! I'd rather spend another 500 bux and get a Bassani true dual stainless kit.

If you have this, is it loud?

Keep in mind you have a transfer case and lightnings dont. You would have to get them bent to go around it. That is part of the reason why I got dynatechs because they are set up for 4wd.
