Fuel pressure/Idle problems

Hey guys, I need some help to troubleshoot a problem im having with the truck. I took it to the track tonight and on my second run 3/4 down the track it felt like if i hit a wall. I let off the gas right away just in case. I gave it gas again and it hesitated and then accelerated fine.
I drove it back to the pits and it drove fine. As soon as i let it idle it would drop to like 400 rpms and rise to 1k several times before settling down at around 500 rpms then it would do it all over again. It kinda felt as if i had cams. I would give it gas and it revs fine.

At the same time all this happend i noticed my F/P gauge is at 40 lbs instead of the usual 30lbs. It doesnt drop to 30 and only climbs to about 42lbs when i give it gas. I took off the electric sender and used a mechanical F/P gauge right on the fuel rail and it also shows 40lbs.

Also, the factory boost gauge and the AutoMeter boost gauge are both at 0 and dont show boost or Vac.

It was dark and i really couldnt see if any of the vacuum hoses had popped off.

OH, i just happened to take out my airfilter to check the MAF and the seal around the Stock air filter had come loose and it got sucked into the intake elbow. It was partly wrapped around the MAF sensor. No pieces were missing though.

At first I thought maybe i fried a plug, but that wouldnt affect F/P or boost readings.
Then i thought maybe the fuel pump relays went belly up.
That might explain the F/P readings but it wouldnt explain the no boost/vac thing.

Oh and there is no hesitation at all when im driving it normal, only idle has a problem.

I would check the fuel pump relays but i dont know which ones they are, dont have a factory manual and havent found it online yet.

Btw, my truck is completely stock, except for a FTVB.

Thanks for any help.

Awesome! Thanks to another forum member i found out the problem.
It was the vacuum line from the lower intake manifold.
That little sucker popped off. I couldnt see it last night cause it's in a spot i head never looked at before.

Popped it back in and she purrs like a kitten again.
