Question Need help w/ Eclipse Audio

I just bought an ipod, and my eclipse head unit (cd 5423) has an aux input...but I can't find out how to change the source from FM/AM or CD to the line in.

I haven't actually hooked the ipod up yet because I'd like to find out how to do this first...anyone have any ideas?

sometimes you have to actually have an aux source plugged in to have the head unit recognize it and switch to that source input.

Exactly. without it being plugged in, it won't access that source. Same if you didn't have a cd changer hooked to it, it wouldn't access the cd changer source.

Got it figured out. With the ipod hooked up, you have to hold the CD button down for a second, then it switches over to 'Anolog Input'

Thanks for the help guys!

Now does anyone have a clever way to place the ipod in the truck? I was thinking of getting a holder for it and somehow fixing it to the cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel. Maybe run the line out and the power wires to it...anyone done anything like that?

Does it fit in the dash cup holder also?
