Lightbulb Part Number List / FAQ?

Is there a FAQ type listing of common part number we use on out Lightnings? I'm thinking of Ford Part #s for gaskets, bolts, etc.

While searching post for this info for my motor swap, I compiled this list to start. I take not credit for the content, only the gathering. Would this be a good idea to post as a FAQ or does it already exist and I'm missing it?

Thanks,
Herb

How about the part # for the gray and black plastic inserts that stick in the holes to hold all of the plastic together in the cab.

I can probably get that for you, i'll look for the bag. They were all grey though, unless they changed them in the newer ones.
I broke a few off before I realized how they worked when putting my stereo in

We could but how many stickies are too many ? Wouldnt it be better to be added to one of the FAQ's which are linked all over the place ?

I pulled the list together, but I didn't find the info personally. I did several searches for gaskets and such and copied the results into a word file, edit that then copied and pasted.

I've got no problem with you using it in a FAQ, but there should probably be a mechanism to add to it and correct any errors found.

Here is a link to the Bookmark for the list inside the FAQ

http://svtlightnings.com/faq1/lightn...n_part_Numbers

The frame link that is used here screws up the Bookmark l ink but you can right click choose copy shortcut and paste it in a new browser window . Or you can just scroll down about 2/3 of the way.

If you have updates just email me

SWEET!

I've got a doozy for ya Raider!

In this thread:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=186454

I introduced a problem I am having getting the 'parts list' together for the OEM part for my short block swap. This is all for an 02 Lightning, btw - except the water pump - it'll be an 03 or 04.

The list of parts I am in need of tracking down (as shown in the FSM) is below:

9y431 Exhaust Manifold Gasket LH (x2)
9448 Exhaust Manifold Gasket RH
6083 Head Gasket LH
6051 Head Gasket RH
9439 Intake Manifold Gasket (x2)
9F670 Idle Air Control Valve Gasket
N806807 Thermostat Housing O-Ring
6710 Oil Pan Gasket
6L266 Timing Chain Tensioner RH
6K255 Timing Chain Tensioner Arm RH
6268 Timing Chain RH
6M256 Timing Chain Guide RH
6M269 Timing Chain Tensioner LH
6M274 Timing Chain Tensioner Arm LH
6268 Timing Chain LH
6B274 Timing Chain Guide LH
6306 Crank Sprocket
6700 Front Crank Oil Seal
6701 Rear Main Oil Seal
6A636 Oil Filter Adapter Gasket
8501 Water Pump

I am missing the numbers for the following as well that the FSM had no reference to:
Valve Cover Gaskets
EGR Gasket
Throttle Body Gasket
Plenum Gasket
Blower Gasket
Midplate Gasket

Some of these are in the list I originally posted, but I've not cross-compiled yet.

Once I gather these numbers (and buy these parts) I'll submit that list to Doug and see if he can add it to his FAQ. It would be nice for someone in my position (dead motor) to be able to find a comprehensive list of the dealer parts need to swap a block. Maybe together we can help 'the next guy'
