How easy is it to put in a FTVB?

Now I'm seriously considering this mod, but may have to swap it back out for warranty reason. So how hard is it to do. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, or atleast I can do almost anything but port heads and build a bottom end, as far as trannys go I can only take them out, replace clutches, and fluid. Will I be able to install a FTVB. Keep in mind I've never even done a shift kit before. Also are there any sites or links you all could throw at me for a little guidance? Thanks!

P.S. Where do I get a good deal on one?

Installing a FTVB is a piece of cake. I got mine from PSP (same one made by Gregg) and it came with easy to follow instructions. You might want to go ahead and order a deep trans pan with a drain plug and new filter while you're at it. I'm sure anyone that sells them includes instructions. It only took me about an hour and I'm not the most mechanically minded individual.

I think I did it in about 30 minutes..just because that's how long it took to drain all the old fluid out. I also had the truck over my head...made it a lot easier.

I've done 4. If you can pull the trans pan, you can install the FTVB.

It's a real easy mod. You need a torque wrench that reads in in/lb and some rags.
