What size tires are stock?

Hey all

Im wanting to get some 99-00 style L wheels and I was wondering what size the stock tires are. Also if anyone had an idea what the diameter of the tires are (I know tire pressure etc makes a diff, but just an estimate) Im just hoping the diameter is close to my current 255/70/16's so my speedo isnt off to much.

Also, any one know where to get L wheels. I want the 99-00 style gray one's, or chromed 04 style.

Thanks

295/45/18=28.4" 255/70/16=30.1

i always feel awkward posting in the l forums but...

if u get the stock size tires for the L wheels, your speedo will be about 5.3% too fast. i went back with 285/50/18's which are 29.22 and only about 2.6% too fast. and i think the new tires much better in every way

I always feel akward about L drivers.....

Smaller huh. That kinda sucks. I just thought about this though, arent the trucks supposed to compensate for tire sizes with in about 5 or so % of the orginal?

Thanks for that calculator.

Smokin' Im assuming those are the 285-50's pictured in your gallery, correct? They look pretty good, I might have to go with that size. Do you have problems with them rubbing or anything?

Thanks guys

yes i think the pic on the main page of my gallery is with the 285 50's. they are Nitto 404's and are, IMO, 10x better than the F1's they came with. they do rub a little if i a turn the wheel ALL the way, but if i back off an inch or two it stops. the life on these things are much better than the goodyears and they ride better IMO too. not too mention the cheaper price

heres a better shot of those tires:

oh and despite the appearance factor...smaller is good. almost like having a gear upgrade

Sweet, thanks.
I thought about the smaller tires kinda like a re-gear, maybe it'll help the 4.6 a little on take off.
