Plugs

Hey Guys,

I just received my 4lb pulley, AF1 filter, 4bank chip, line valve mod and plugs. My truck will arrive on tuesday.

A friend of mine and myself are going to do the mods except the plugs, which I will have a mechanic install.

My question is: How long can I drive the truck after installing the mods before I have the olugs put in?

Denso IT20's. I was a bit worried that it might cause damage on the stock plugs. The ford dealer is packed with work and they want US$220 to change them. I spoke to a reputable mechanic and her said it would take about an hour and his cost is $60.

A lot of guys use them, so I would say you would be fine with them. I have never used them myself, so can't give you any first had knowledge about them.

I've had the IT 20's on for about a year with plenty of trips down the 1320 with no problems.
I'm switching to Autolite AR94's just to give them a try. A lot cheaper than the Denso's.

I ran the factory stock plugs with a 6lb lower and Predator and JLP Cold Air Kit for 6 months, no problem.

Put cold plugs in, and couldn't get away with any more timing than I could with the stock "hot" plugs.

My tuner suggested .50 and you guys say .36-.38 so I guess I might be safest with .40?
