my name is matt and i live in austin texas and my freinds I are getting a group together to go to san antonio raceway friday february 18 and i was going to see if anyone wanted to go.we will probably have 4 or more cars with us. a porsche gt3 is supposed to go with us. my freind has an audi tt quatro that has about 340 hp.we are just looking for a few more people to go. hopefully there will be some more lightnings there. just email us back thanks

 

Just got my Lightning last week, I'm in Austin too.

I'm very tempted to go, but I'll have to see if I can scrape up the $$$$ it's gonna take. That's a long drive for a big thirsty truck.

I'm out of the racing scene for probably a couple months. I just puked oil out of a hole in my block Friday night at SAR.

If I hadn't run last week I could have put on that same show for you guys this Friday (I was going to run last week or wait til this week).

There are usually a handful of SA racers though. I'm sure Red02 and a few other will chime in.

we will meet in the academy parking lot at william cannon and I35 about 5 or so then leave around 530. we have a pack of cars going down i35 so people that dont know how to get there dont get lost. otherwise if you know how to get there you can just meet us there. it doesnt cost alot. doesnt take much gas. 15 bucks to get in and race as many times as you can. Where is this car show at? we might go.

 

Yeah, I've been down there a bunch in my Focus before, it's just that I'll need a $50 tank of gas on top of the $15 gate in order to pull it off. I get 15mpg tops.

I'll probably go either way, who am I kidding.

 

ya that pressure is always there. my freinds tell me to take them off roading after i clean my truck and i say no way but it always ends up happening. can you meet us at william cannon and I35. its always a fun drive down there considering you have alot of cars to mess around with. I dont think we will make that car show sorry, sounds fun. post some pics of it. We will video tape the who thing at the track and post it on the internet after we make a nice video out of it.

 

the carshow is right by i35 close to baylor university parks is the street name suppose to be lots of cars lightnings 4x4s everything gonna be good and its free to get in the car show just go have a gfood time met new people and new trucks/cars thats what i can't wait for and og course the chicks

I'd go for sure if the temps got colder, we usually leave Austin in order to make it to the gates as the open at SAR.

Yeah, I was at HEB sat picking up some BBQ stuff. Didn't see your truck though, hoping to meet you this week at the 1431 and Parmer meet.

 

i was in my other truck, maroon ranger with "austinsvt.com" sticker on the back glass.

If weather holds off there should be a good turn out at 1431.

i don't know of there wil be any prizes or not there might be but if anybody wants to go let me know and tell me the type of car and year so i can tell the people and if you decide not to go let me know a couple of days before please. from what i am told there are going to be a lot of sweet rides out here and lots of fun

 

Got my tracking info for my mods today, I was hoping to have the stuff on the truck by friday but none of it will be here until friday after work so it'll have to wait. I don't really want to go down unmodded.
