Help pulling 1.6's or better with slicks & TQ
Help pulling 1.7's or better with slicks & TQ
Hey Guys,
I was just wondering if I was using a PI 2400 TQ & slicks, how could I pull a 1.7's or better?
I've currently got a little over 400hp without the juice and 485 with it.
Please post staging, rpm before launch, and anything else ya'll can think of.
Thanks,
Tony

gearing, tire size, launch RPM, tire heating, avoiding water.. man I could go on and on... all play a factor.
Remember, it's not about your PEAK HP and TRQ. It's about the area under the curve. the more area under the curve, the more power you are actually making. And on launching, it's the amount of power you make at low RPM's.
Don't drive through the water! Your front tires will hold the water and when you launch, it will leave a nice patch of water on ther track, perfectly wide for your rear slicks to drive through
Tire Pressure should be consistent
HEATING the tires should be consistent. (don't do it for 3 seconds one run and 30 the next)
Where does your problem lie? Spinning off the line? Not enough Oomph off the line? Hell it could be the track itself. (just a *****ty track)
