Taillight question, need opinions

I am not scared to hear negative opinions, so fire away. I have the matrix blacked out projector lights. I need taillights to match. I found these.

Do any of you think these would be too much on an 03 dsg with black front lights?

The black part looks great, but I don't like the silver and red parts.

Actually, I think they look good. I really like when there lit up. Very different looking, in a good way. I would say go for it. And if you do, show some pics of what they look like. So it's from me.

I think that those are pretty sick! Good thing I don't have a black truck because this thread would have probably cost me a few bones!

Thanks for eveyones opinion, and I agree with you Tim. I didn't like the red and silver parts, but they are starting to grow on me. I really want a set of the bermuda black lights, but can't seem to locate a set like yours.

This is a pic of the smoked lights, I couldn't find a pic of the black ones.

I must be the only one that thinks the stock 99/01 rear lights look best on our trucks. There clean.

I agree!

I am on the fence about having the backup light on the bottom, but i'm gonna order a set of see.

Didn't bulldog put LED's in his 00 tails? I would put an LED panel inside my red tails, I would probably like that better than the eurostar taillights.

Hey J,
I got an email from someone that suggested the following:

"If you know anybody that paints you can have them do the covers in BASF, Diamont " Black Smoke" candy. It's an automotive basecoat candy that when applied in multiple coats will darken the cover, then just clear them."

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I thought of that, but it might turn out looking like I had taillight covers instead of blacked out insides with a clear lens. I already sent the first set I bought back to sporttruckdirect and bought the led tails. I should get them this week so I will post pics.

Off topic, but are we paintballin this weekend Wad?
