quick help plz, ground effect repair
OK.. on the ground effect After the driver's door the vertical part of it that goes up is splitting off.
It's still together but is splitting at the corner.
I want to save it while I can and I have it prepped for repair now.
What do you guys know that I can put in the INSIDE to join the two corners together strong.
I don't know what material the ground effects are made out of.
Also under the black paint there is red color.. could this be a sign of a previous owner wreck?? On the back there is hints of red but was black sprayed over.. doesn't look like a fix job but I don't know what color the ground effects are originally before they are painted.
Thx for help in advance..

Thoughly scuff the back side with 60 grit. Then use a little fiberglass resin with a small patch of glass mat.
If it's seperating? Then you'll want to apply pressure to hold the crack closed for a few hours while it's drying.
Let it dry good and then sand & grind any edges that might be visible from the outside of the truck.
It's easy and cheap, Rich
