I did a search but didn't find any info about stripppin the "paint".

What is the best way to strip it? Blast it, or paint stripper?

i tried the aircraft stripper. The oderless stuff was ok, the regular stuff didn't seem much better. Real pain in the ***. I finally ended up sand blasting it and worked best.

I just used a portable sandblast kit i have. You need a decent size compressor, like 25 gallon and up to keep up with it, but works great.

 

If you have access to blast it do it that way.
