50 miles round trip over 1500 a month for me.
I get around 13-16mpg.

 

My 2001 L has over 40,000 miles on it and has run the best of 10.74 @ 127.

Also I have driven (NOT TRAILERED) to EVERY FFW and NMRA event with 3 final round appearances and 2 wins (1 FFW and 1 NMRA).
At the NMRA event I won ,I was the ONLY truck in the class without a trailer or rollcage.(That will change this year though as I already have a cage and soon to get another truck and trailer).

So you can have a fast competitive L that drives to work and the track.

26 miles every day in rush hour, but still getting 13.5 MPG. Have a total of 28k miles on it now.
