will traction bars............
If they are solidly mounted they can only help to keep the rearend in line. (you won't notice it though) If your talking the slapper types.. then they may actually hurt if you were to stab it coming off a corner.

True that, What Rich Said
But I found the Slappers DID NOT affect daily driving one iota,
but I also kept 1-1/4" distance from Snubber to contact point, giving a little room for the rear to still move and absorb some power.
When I switched to the 58" Rancho Bars I was very disappointed
in the stiffness it created, and comfort it took away
I've learned to live with it, but anytime you bolt the rear axle housing of your vehicle to the middle of your chassis, which prevents ANY rear wrapping, you better expect to give up comfort, cause you do.
You will also immediatley notice the tires break lose much easier with 58" bars, that is because you now immediately throw the power to the ground instead of the distance between the snubber and contact point absorbing some of it.
If you are not running low 12's, I'd go with Slapper Bars, but once
you get to low 12's or faster, you simply have NO CHOICE, slappers will no longer work. I find my handling is still excellent,
(a little stiff but excellent), however hit a bump in the middle of a turn, and you better be prepared to go for a ride

yes im not running 12s, im stock, but when i lowered my truck i noticed more wheel wrapping, so im corecting this by using lakewoods, but i just didnt want to hurt any of my handling, since the truck handles so well. Ihope im happy with these as i know most guys are
I've found the Metcos to be exactly what I needed. Aside from weight transfer at the track, they perform as well as the Rancho bars and do not affect the ride quality at all. Excellent product!
Metco Bars
I have Metco uppers on my truck. Rides the same as stock. The rearend doesn't sway around in cornering. Mothing hangs down. Just make sure you preload them (shorten, if uppers) 3 complete turns. Stops all wheel hop. Great product!
