int pic of my L
He posted pictures of his truck and asked for opinions. I posted what I saw and thought. It might be a little too direct, but at least it's honest. Then I just get attacked for it by everyone whose toes I ever stepped on or had a post of mine rub them wrong piles on.
I don't like it, but he asked. In the end, if he's happy with it that's all that really matters. He might not like my truck, but I do, and again, if it's mine, only my opinion truly matters.
If muddman (and everyone else) had just taken my comment with a grain of salt, instead of blowing it up, it wouldn't have gotten everyone's panties in a wad. Just because we all own Lightnings doesn't mean we all think the same.

HOOD PINZ= 42 HORZES AT THE FLY GUY! OMG NAWWWWWWWWWWWZZZZ!!!!!
Mudd, you asked for opinions, you got some, and got one you really didn't want to hear. Was it abrasive? Yes. Was it the truth according to Mattias? Yep. You can't fault the guy for having different tastes. You could argue the ever-popular saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all", but then again some would say "Why ask a question if you don't want an answer?"
All of these trucks are interpretations of the owner's desires. In your case, you purchased someone else's vision. It's a good thing you share what the owner sawe in that truck, but it doesn't mean we all have to share that vision as well.
"to each his own" is entirely too fitting.
I don't like it. Too much crap on it. That's my opinion.
BTW- it was relisted on ebay 4 times beacuse it didn't sell to what the owner thought it was worth. And it did have a salvage title at one time.
Everyone has different tastes.

It's a bit too much for me. I like the wheels and the Expy console however.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of times are you putting up at the track? How does it handle on a road course? Looks mean.
Also, remember that everyone has an opinion. When you ask for that opininion you get alot of attention starved people coming out of the wood works wanting to throw in their ***-clown comments. Shrug it off and life will be much better.

I remember that truck on eBay a few months ago as well. What were the 'minor electrical' problems about? And if it wasnt a Salvaged vehicle, what was the "Other" title listing (instead of Clear)?
