i went to the immokalee 1/8mile drag strip with a couple freinds.
first car that i raced was subaru wrx i ran a 8.77 and he ran 9.8
next race one of my buddies hooked it up by putting me against a 2005 vette BRAND NEW every body at the track stood on the sides watching. as soon as that third yellow light came up i let RIP
my 60' was a 1.9 and my 1/8 was a 8.59 the vette ended up running a 8.65 everybody congradulated me on beating the chevy
i still think he should of beat me. What Do YOU Guys ThInK?

we ran last nite at the local 1/8 track. street nite...no tree , no time. 5 bucks to run all nite.
my friend has a @99 eclipse gsx awd built motor 25psi 75ish shot
that thing is mean out of the hole (5000rpm launches).
i added jlp bars yesterday.
with 28x12.50 et's i consistantly pulled him 1-2 from a dig and 4-5 at the stripe. (16-17 psi pulley)
b4 calling it a nite i swapped back to my street rubber (295/40/20)and made 2 more runs w/ him. i had my race tires , jack,cordless impact, etc. in the back.
i was still pulling1-2 out of the hole spinning and 2-3 all over the track on the other end.
my mph seems higher(no times) on the 29.5" tall gsa's...i may go to a taller wider slick and see what happens.
