Safety with predator tune and 6psi pulley?

Ok, so currently I have the Predator tune with 4lbs pulley, 1 step colder plugs, ftvb, intake, intake plenum, throttle body, intake elbow.

I just installed the catback exhaust, tomorrow im installing the bassani cat deletes, lfp 58inch bars, and maybe the 6psi pulley. with 4psi the car runs great, the AF is perfect. Now with the predator, should i install the 6psi pulley and drive it around, or wait til i get to the dyno so it can be tuned?
How many of you are running around this way, and for how long? also should i expect a Check engine light when i take out the cats, and do you get o2 simulators to fix it or can the predator turn it off?
Josh

Hmm...pre-tuned predator + 4psi pulley= PERFECT air fuel ratio...maybe it was tuned for a 4lbs pulley and thats why it would run lean with 2psi more?

You must be the exception to the rule. The out of the box predator tune is generally considered to be a POS.

What was your A/F??

I for one do not agree that the Predator tunes are extremely dangerous. I am running 6lbs of pulley and have no evidence of detonation.
I always add 2 gallons of xylene to help keeo combustion under control, and love the response from the canned predator tune.
The af ratio of approx 12 is a good power producing area.
I would be wary of promises to increase performance without increasing timing, or leaning out the tune. Both by the way increase risk, but may be manageable with proper prep.

A little lean for my taste. In stock rods I would keep it in the 11.8 range, it doesn't drop below 12 until after 4k.

I agree with all of the above..... get a tuner to tune it for 6lb esp.

In the "pulley" tune, why not take 10% timing out, and add 10% fuel?

I would worry more about the timing than the a/f. I have heard several say that the timing on the canned predator tune is 19ish mabey even 20. In that case this tune with a 12ish a/f would be a great race tune with race gas, but not a good street tune. Just my 02 cents
