Security Issues

I would say there were security issues, I had my AMEX card stolen and used to purchase a few laptop computers on BestBuy.com after I purchased a Nitrous Plate on your site.

Anyway, glad to see you resolved it.
So I guess you think there is such a thing as a "secure" website huh? guess what, there IS NOT... NONE OF THEM... security is a dream... its ALWAYS possible to have something unexpected happen. This sort of thing happens to ALL big business from time to time... why do you think AMEX forgave the debt? they realize this is the modern day and people want a modern convienance, however nothing is risk free...

if you are sooo bugged by getting ripped off... DONT SHOP ONLINE...

or you can just live with it, follow the procedure to recoup any lost credit. I understand you can be frustrated about it happening to you, however thats life... its happend to me before and several others I know.

Were you smoking something when you responded to my comment

I simply stated that my cc info was stolen from a unsecured transaction, and you say I shouldn't shop online, hummm, ok boss thanks for your input.

Indeed. I do website security aduits for a living. It's very common for sites to claim that they are secure just because they use SSL. Thats great and all for while you are sending your private information to their server but it means nothing once it gets there. Guess.com got sued a while back for claiming their site was secure since it used SSL and a hacker got into their system and everything was open for viewing. You would be very suprised at what a hacker can accomplish by exploiting the simplest mistake.

We did an audit for a major bank in the US not long ago and found some serious issues with their new online banking initative. Like being able to view and use other customer accounts just by modifying the cookie they gave you. Not good.

There is no such thing as a secure site. Only a secure enough site.
