home made cold air

Thought I'd share a pic of the cold air box I made. I took a piece of aluminum sheet cut out a pattern bent it on the metal brake and tiged up the ends and 3 round aluminum pipe for the hoses to clamp on.. one for the fender and one for the scoop under the bumper cover. I had the box powder coated silver vain. I got the filter and flange from mark at lfp but since I had my uncle machine me me a flange out of billet stock... works great.

I agree a hundred percent, I got more enjoyment making it than I would of If I bought it..
