rtroha: I have no idea yet on what I will do with it. For now it’ll be stock. But I’m sure that I’ll add more power later when the money is available. I would like to look at what is all out there first though.

DL: How did you get that pic of me? lol Wait! That isn’t me…she’s too tall. I'm too short to be her.

tallimeca: I’m sure I can handle it. I grew up with fast cars and trucks. But I will take your advice and go easy until I am used to it. And I guess if I have to wear long pants I will But I like skirts better. (Take that as you will....lol)

j/k

there's a lot of good info on things to watch for and not do
you should love the truck, but once you start modding it's hard to stop

By now, most people on here know what mods really work for you and which one's give you the most bang for your buck.

So don't be scared, ask away...

WOOHOO!!! First mods done...

I removed the factory badges last night at work after I got done boxing the rear of a customer's car. And I put in Silverstars too. MUCH better than factory.

Next up: A rollpan (molded in of course) and new wheels & tires. Maybe something in the 18-20 inch range. Oh and one of my friends that works for us wants to try building some different sub boxes to fit in my truck.

**edit**

I think I might get some better brakes and maybe the Hotchkis TVS kit with some QA-1's too before I try to go any faster and before I do anything else to the truck. We'll see what kind of prices I can get through work or online and go from there.

It is a custom that new members show a picture of their new L as well as one of themselves when joining our family. This thread is useless without pics.

Welcome Heather-kins.

I have an 02-red. Just ordered a new MagnaFlow exhaust for it.

Yeah it's kind of hard not to mod a car or truck when you work at your family's body shop. lol I get all my labor for free!
