Just bought a 2002 Lightning
rtroha: I have no idea yet on what I will do with it. For now it’ll be stock. But I’m sure that I’ll add more power later when the money is available. I would like to look at what is all out there first though.
DL: How did you get that pic of me? lol Wait! That isn’t me…she’s too tall. I'm too short to be her.
tallimeca: I’m sure I can handle it. I grew up with fast cars and trucks. But I will take your advice and go easy until I am used to it. And I guess if I have to wear long pants I will
But I like skirts better.
(Take that as you will....lol)

2nd Fast cars & trucks???I thought you said you've had mainly GM vehicles
j/kthere's a lot of good info on things to watch for and not do
you should love the truck, but once you start modding it's hard to stop
WOOHOO!!! First mods done...
I removed the factory badges last night at work after I got done boxing the rear of a customer's car. And I put in Silverstars too. MUCH better than factory.
Next up: A rollpan (molded in of course) and new wheels & tires. Maybe something in the 18-20 inch range. Oh and one of my friends that works for us wants to try building some different sub boxes to fit in my truck.
**edit**
I think I might get some better brakes and maybe the Hotchkis TVS kit with some QA-1's too before I try to go any faster and before I do anything else to the truck. We'll see what kind of prices I can get through work or online and go from there.

Yeah it's kind of hard not to mod a car or truck when you work at your family's body shop. lol I get all my labor for free!
