LFP Headers

How do these headers compare to the Kooks or Dynatech? I kno Doug Thorley makes these. I was wondering what the tri-y thing is I hear about. Anybody got clips of these headers with a bassani catback?

Tri Y headers. If you look at the picture on his website you can see how the 4 single tubes to 2 collectors to a single collector? That's known as Tri Y. Regular headers collect all four tubes into one collector.

This is how LightningLarry put it over on svtperformance.com in a nut shell

if memory serves me correctly, there was a discussion about the tri-y design on jeepsunlimited.com and the consensus was that the tri-y's made more low end torque, but not so much hp up high.
