BTS tranny's are IMO the best money can buy for our trucks. I've owned a stock tranny, a Monster Box and now a BTS. Daily driven 600/700+ to the rear wheels with many 1/4 mile passes and this thing still shifts and feels new. I watched my BTS being built from the ground up and I can honestly tell you there's not a stronger transmission built for our trucks. If you're planning on making more than 600 rwtq then BTS is the deal. You'll thank me later.

BTS builds an excellent tranny but so does Gregg Evans. Ive had good luck with my monster box and I just freshened it up and the clutches still looked new. So I decided to bullet proof it more with the bigger 9 clutch drum and 6 pinion front and rear steel planet sets and the high flow pump gear etc ,with the 2cr valve body this should rip. As far as customer service is concerned, Gregg is the bomb. Pete

I agree. Not trying to take anything away from Gregg because he is a good guy and has great customer service. I'm sure his tranny is a great stock replacement or for people with minor mods. I'm just saying that if you're gonna shoot for big numbers, buy a tranny that'll hold up to it. My monster box lasted less than 12k miles with only 480rwhp. BTS uses a few beefier parts than Gregg does to keep big hp trucks from toasting the tranny.
