I would like to invite you guys to mustangweek 05 .I own a 99 lightning and I read these boards alot ,and I see where some of you guys are always looking for groups to go do stuff with .here's a cool place to do it at mustang and svt week,we have about 15 to 20 lightning down there last year ,we are having all kinds of stuff to do check this link .

I go to Myrtle Beach usually every year. So I will make my plans to go when Mustang week is going on. So count me in for sure! Now, all I have to do is make up my mind on taking either the Lightning or my Cobra. Maybe I could throw the Cobra on a trailer and pull it down with the Lightning. I better start saving now to pay for the GAS!! Lightning + pulling a Cobra = EMPTY GAS TANK!! Oh' well, I didn't buy her for good gas milage.

How many of you guys are making plans to go down with your Lightnings? We should make plans for a meet of all the f-150online/nloc.com Lightning guys, if you've never been to Myrtle Beach you guys are definitely missing out on a great time. One night we could all go to the Crazy Horse !!! What a nice place that is OOOOOOWWWWWEEEEEEE!!!!!

TTT its a month away!!! Its looking to be huge this year

 

I'm going to make it down there one way or another. I still don't know what to take the Lightning or the Cobra, but it's looking like it's going to have to be the Lightning. I know it's Mustang week but i've been having trouble with my tranny in my Cobra. The synchros are shot and it grinds bad at high RPM when shifting from 1st to 2nd, and thats the main ones when you want to show off and make a butt hole of yourself!!! I don't know what way i'm going to go yet, rebuild this one or put in a T-56 6 speed like what comes in the 03 - 04 Cobras. And I know what ever way I end up going with,it won't be done by Mustang week.

 

We all should have a big Lightning get together that same week also. We could take over Myrtle Beach with FAST LIGHTNINGS & MUSCLE MUSTANGS!!! Sounds like a winner to me!!
