Did a search on both of these thought i was sold on the accufab but the bbk in test look like there putting up better #s and the blades are not getting stuck like i read about on some of the single blade tb ....ur thoughts?

 

Hated the Accufab. Idle would "hang up" around 1300 RPM's after accelerating the truck. Also idles higher than I wanted to. If you position the stop so that sticking does not occur, it idles even higher.

I got the BBK and I love it. Check out the thread below. A guy making good numbers tested the two. The BBK has the Accufab which surpised me because I thought ultimately air flow was the only consideration.

I've had the Accufab SBTB for 3 years on my 01L. When I first put it on, it would idle high upon decelerating - about 1100 rpm - and then gradually fall down to about 700 rpm. So I bent back the bracket holding the throttle return spring, and it never happened again. It's never stuck and I've never made any adjustements to it, other than adjust the TPS. But I've seen posts on here where some guys have had continual problems with the Accufab and simple fixes never seemed to be able to resolve their problems and they scrapped them - so it appears that "all" Accufabs just aren't the same.
