changing plugs
Alright guys how hard is a plug change on the L ? And where the hell are they i dont see them anywhere ( now i feel dumb lol ) .... I have worked on my cars in the past ... my trans am i did heads intake and cam yet i cant seem to find the damn spark plugs on my lightning
It's not that bad. Time consuming the first time, and frustrating, but easier after that.
Look for the coilpacks right under the fuel rails. You'll see a round black cap with a 7mm gold bolt in it. Once you remove the wires (just clip on) and the 7mm bolt, the coilpack will pop off, then the plug is a 3" extension and a plug socket away.
The hardest is #7, save yourself the headache and get yourself a 7mm swivel socket, a magnet, and an array of extensions
