Took off my oil filler cap and it had ice on the bottom of it, wtf ???
Went to go install my fms breather on the filler neck took off the old cap and it had like a lil bit of ice on the end and i seen frost in the filler neck and some on the cam ... is this normal ? the temp has been about 25 during the day and 5-10 at night .... I did remove the pcv and installed 3 breathers i dont know if that could be the cause any help woudl be nice
for every one gallon of fuel you burn your vehicle produces 1 gallon of water. (mostly in the exhaust)
It's simply frozen water vapor from the crank case..
should you be worried? I parked my truck in September and it won't be started until April.

Ice
I noticed the same today on mine. Temps here have been
cold, - 8 this morning with lots of snow. Lightning has been in the garage for over a month. I start it every week and let it run for a while. Waiting for a good day to drive it.
Is this a good idea.
