They also are the type where you CAN replace the ball joint down the road when needed. These are the upper control arms you would buy from a parts store like NAPA.

Now did you have to BUY those, or are they actually covered under warrenty? If so, how much? Is there any tubular, or atleast LIGHTER lower CA's for our truck that are not drop arms, ie, a direct replacement?
A friend has a set on his regular f150 he got from Pepboys that look much better than our stock ones. They also came with TRW ball joints with the grease fitting installed. The design on these replacement UCA allow you to replace the ball joints down the road when needed with a press.
I need to replace mine because every time I stop there is a loud noise comming from my worn out upper ball joints. When I do change the upper's I will be install new lower WC arrms with new TRW ball joints. No more crappy oem ball joint garbage. New, the arms are about $120 for both, I'm not paying that.
