The Best Head Gaskets ?

I am putting my engine back together next week and was wondering what is the latest and the greatest head gaskets out there.

I really don't want to O-ring my engine.

That's good to know....

I asked JDM about head gaskets and they said they use the Ford gaskets on their built motors.

Well then.... they "must" be the best if JDM uses them.

Learn something new every day!
I didn't know Ford gaskets were the same design as Cometics. That answers my question (never asked it though) about what the gasket composition was in these motors. I always figured I would replace the stock ones with Cometics anyway.

I've heard that Cometics don't provide that "fuse" effect that older designs do by blowing before taking out a piston.

In the motorcycle world, Cometic is the bomb, too. All of my 2 strokes and 4 strokes are sporting that brand
