Unhappy Cold weather q's

I started my truck up for the first time in a couple weeks in the Boston MA area, its been cold but while listining it sounded odd. There was this odd whistling noise and was running pretty rough so i covered her back up and waiting for the nice weather to come soon....

I got the same thing, but it didn't go away when warm (it only happens about 30-35 MPH and 55-60MPH). Any Ideas?

Did you ad any fuel stabilizer prior to putting it away? Sounds like this is fuel related. I've never noticed any out of the ordinary noises when starting mine cold but I always use my remote start to warm the truck up before going outside if it is less than 10 degrees F.

If you have colder plugs in it thats not abnormal. Mine does the same thing when its around 0 degrees or less. Mine also will whistle when its first started just as you said.

I drive my truck almost everyday. I just let it warm up before I start driving it if its missing when I start it. It goes away after a few min. Its the colder plugs, but I'm too lazy to change them in the winter so I just deal with it.

Same issues here...I also parked mine due to my nervousness about the cold. Really sounded unheathy. The temps in my area were only around 20-30 so it isn't in Exteme cold only areas. Any legit tech reasons would be greatly appreciated.
