On a relatively stock truck, just exhaust tb, e-fans, 170* stat and heat exchanger, how much boost can you run on pump gas, and also if I keep the stock lower pulley what size upperdo I run to achieve that on a KB? thanks!

There are so many variables........

Last engine I bent 2 rods at 14lbs boost/16 degrees timing.

mainly go by hp when you get near 500@rear wheels you're taking a chance

So then is like 450 rwhp pretty safe on the stock bottom safe or still risky for a daily driver?

Well I was around 470....

I've seen 520+ and still be good.

Every engine is different.

It's not about boost, it's about detonation. Keep detonation in check and the sky's the limit for boost.

"Pump gas?" Remember that the stuff that they call premium out here in the People's Republic of California is garbage. They call it 91 octane, but it behaves like it is even less.

So if you are going to copy someone else's tune, you would be well advised to make sure that they are in California.

Give Danny Swanson in Torrance a call. He knows his stuff and has nothing but satisfied customers.

premium gas in California is 91 octane? Dang... I won't even run that in my grand cherokee.

I'll sell you some 100 octane unleaded
