sorry to bring this thread back up, seems old, but what is the best way to remove the badges? I've been reading goo gone and fishing line and a hair dryer.. goo gone seems a bit iffy but it doesn't say don't use on a car, so I don't know. Any one debadged their's successfully? what did you do if you did

Thanks

that works, i hit the badge with a blow dryer for a few minutes first just to get the glue soft on the badge, i used waxed dental floss, then goo off and then a coat of wax

How hard was it to have the tailgate handle shaved? Is there a kit I could buy to where I could still open it?

Looks great without the handle or the dome around the handle (smooth)

Yes there is a kit that converts the handle to the inside. Im not sure who makes it. Also if you are going to shave the handle you might as well remove the badge becuase the entire tailgate will need to be painted anyhow.

Had the holes filled in by the bodyshop and stuck an SVT badge on the right.

Also put one in front.

If you don't mind me asking.. How much did they charge to fill in the holes.. I'm looking to do it, but I don't know if i can afford it..

I had it done when my L got hit by a girl in a Honda. When the body shop repaired the back I had them fill in the hole, so I'm not sure how much it would cost. You could drive over to a body shop and ask.
