Lightning rims

What do you guys think about trucks with L rims that aren't lightnings? I was thinking about getting some for my truck but didn't know if people thought it was "poser like".

Personally, I could care less. If thats what you want on your truck then slap em on there, whatever slaps a smile on your face. What I do find hilarious is how upset people get when they see something they call a poser, its classic. If some guys beats a f150xlt that looked like an L and blabs to all his friends I could care less, we all know that most people can't hang with our trucks, why get your panties in a bunch..
Just my two cents...

I definately know my truck is NO lightning. The only L thing I would have on it would be the rims.

There is a '00 fleetside F-150 locally that has '99 L rims on it and it looks great, I think.

I did the L front bumper and grills, as well as '99L wheels on my wife's Expedition and it looks very good on it.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery. They will look really nice on your truck. Go for it.

replicawheels.com used to sell non-chromed replica Lightning wheels, but I don't see them now. The chrome ones shown here:

Heck, you got guys throwin $5000 26" spinners on a $300 1984 Fleetwood rustbucket. I see no reason why you can't put L wheels on your F-150. Do whatever you like. It's the guys that put all the Lightning badges on a regular F-150 that I don't care for.

Buy what ever you like. It’s your truck, your taste and your money. If someone says something about it just run them over and silence them…
