Cog Belt System???

Does anyone have that cog belt system from moto-blue? That would definitely get rid of belt slippage. Any replies are greatly appreciated!

There is a guy over on svtp that has the cog system on his L. Seems to like and hasnt had any problems yet. You might try to conact him for any specific questions about it. Here is a link to a thread were he talks about it briefly. Near the bottom of the page.

Unless you have a true 10 sec L, it is not a good mod at all... In fact it is actually bad... A little belt slippage is normal and eliminating it is actually bad...

I work for a custom machine builder and we using timing "cog" belts frequently when we are trying to maintain accurate speed control on a rotating axis.

However, the two things I've noticed is that they are noisey as hell with that high pitched whine. The other thing is that depending on the acceleration of the motor and the variation of the load you can make a timing belt jump teeth. Even if you have tighted the hell out of it. When they jump teeth this is not good because it can wear the belt quickly.

cog here in Texas

My buddy Sean has it on his 04 Lightning and it does sound sweet as hell, very loud when he's comming down the track. I think he has the 12psi kit and I know he is running 13.2's on F1's about to be 12's after we put on his Lakewoods.

Anyone that has it on 12 sec L is all about show and talking about his L rather than doing what is right and effective.
