Angry Not happy! Not happy at all!

The most terrible thing has happened. I just got my azz handed to me by two clowns in a Chevy deisel extended cab. WTF!!!!! It was 9:30pm with 20* temps. I`m at a light and this deisel truck pulls up next to me power braking and spooling up the turbo. My first thought was "are you kidding me?" So I turn down the tunes and prepare to give them the smackdown like I give to everyone else. The light turns green and this mini Mac Truck leaps forward like bat out of hell and disappears. I come out of the hole, fish-tailing with no chance of any bite on the road. I just felt like sharing that with you guys. Feel free to pour the lemon juice over the wounds while they`re still fresh.

It kills me! Right now these guys are somewhere ( ) laughing cause they just smoked a Lightning.

TRACTION! I need some TRACTION!!!!!

Those diesels can make a ton of torque if they're modded. But they still stink!

Don't feel to bad.
4wd diesel
Frozen pavement
You didn't have a chance.

Now once he hits 70mph, you can blow by him at 120

Most likely it had a bunch of mods which is why it took off like it did. Stock those things do like 11sec 0-60

You got hole-shotted by 4WD like Menace said. I also raced one of those, and I got smoked because we went from a dead stop and I smoked the tires trying to catch him. He was sporting a 6.0 Liter F-250 with (stacked?) chips, a stall converter, exhaust and boost. I later found out he has run high 12's in that mode.

So don't feel bad. If he ran your race (rolling) you would have pulled him.

Just take your A$$ whoopings like a man and laugh about it. There's always going to be something faster. I think that most of us have seen that F350 Crew Cab 4x4 vid where the guy runs a mid 11 second 1/4 mile pass. He was fast, but what a discusting cloud of black smoke that come pouring out of his exhaust the whole pass. On the street, I'd have raced that truck in a heartbeat, and gotten my a$$ handed to me just like what happened to you. Traction really seems to be a big problem with our L's on the street.

Yea i seen in some truck mag they did a test with f350 6.0psd
against dodge cumins and the duramax pulling a 5,000 pound trailer. They did a bunch of tests like 0-60 1/4 and the 6.0psd whooped the the cumins and duramax in both.
