Its time....

Its time to sell the truck. I love it but i cant make it any faster without a built motor. I am looking for a 03 cobra. I was just wondering how much i should sell the truck for, its an 01 with 35k miles on it, and some bolt ons. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Matt

Personally I think you are making a big mistake. I too thought I just had to have an 03 Cobra and got rid of my 01 Lightning. Sure I got the Cobra to run 11.60's @ 121mph with only a 4 pound lower pulley, a Single program Troyer tuned Superchip and a set of ET Streets, BUT the newness wore off quickly and I sold the Cobra within 14 months of buying it. I have stated over and over again that selling my Lightning was the dumbest thing I can remember doing in the past 20 years or so.
I have been attempting to locate the person in Florida that now has my old L, but to no avail. Your right, if I locate him I will attempt to purchase it back if it has not been damaged.
Do yourself a favor and keep the Lightning.....

It's a big decision. I've pretty much decided to do the same thing. Just having a very hard time finding a serious buyer. I'm going to the other side though. Getting a Z06.

I'll always miss the truck. Just like I miss all of the other vehicles I've sold in the past. And I know I'll get sick of the Z06 after a time and sell it too. Vicious cycle eh?

Good luck in your travels.
