Does anyone have this Hood ??

Does anyone have this hood from ABC Exclusive ? I am leaning towards either this hood or the cobra style hood. Do you have any good pics of this hood installed on your L ?

Thanks

Ya know, that's the EXACT hood I tried to have made 3 years ago. I wanted a Cobra R style cowl raise, with the scoop on top. Nobody I contacted would make it. So I had my own made. Not exactly what I wanted, but I had to work with an existing hood. Now everyone makes a knock off of my hood .

But I'll tell you what, if I was in the market for a hood again, that's the one I'd buy.

i bought the ss150 hood from abcexclusive... fit perfect, no gaps and it looked awesome. i dont like that other hood though, maybe if the L hoods were longer it woud look right... that hood looks better on cars.

It kind of reminds me of the scoop fond on the 78 to 82 Camaro Z28. Don't know if it really fits with the L. JMO.

I asked about that hood about 18 months ago. I didn't get many replies. The quality of the hood was put in question at the time. I don't have first hand knolege of it myself. I still think it's a good looking hood.

Well as for the quality, I met a guy here in Houston last night when out cruising that had the SS150 hood. Hood had good fit and excellent finish. I thoroughly questioned the guy who did the fit and paint himself. He said "very little prep required prior to paint, but make sure to fit prior to painting." He had to block sand one edge for a precision fit/joint reveal at the hood to fender junction. All said he had less than 1 hour prep prior to paint. I am impressed ! I think I am going to go with the SVO hood as there are alot of cobra style hoods on the streets. Just wish someone had this on their truck so that I could see some good pics from the front and the profile.

I have decided ! It's gonna be the SVO 150 HOOD

Well, after much thought and consideration I am going to purchase the SVO 150 hood from ABC Exclusive. The cobra style hood looks great but alot of people have this style hood, so I am going to try and be somewhat unique. My plans are to have the "SVT" logo and some lightning strikes airbrushed on the underside prior to final clear cloat. Hope it turns out good.

You guys that have aftermarket fiberglass hoods, what did it cost you to have them prepped and painted ?
